Public pages can be viewed without connecting a wallet. Wallet connections and sessions use Privy and your wallet provider.
Wallet profiles show public chain activity for an address. They do not require a saved profile or make that activity private.

Website and data providers receive information needed to handle requests, which may include your IP address, browser details, and the wallet address being requested.

Wallet connections and public profiles
You can browse public pages without connecting a wallet. When you connect, Argus uses Privy and your wallet provider to establish a session and access the wallet address and network needed for wallet actions. Sign-in information is handled by those services according to their policies.
A wallet profile displays holdings, launches, and other available public activity associated with an address. The displayed name and default avatar are derived from that address. Viewing a profile does not create an editable account or change the visibility of its chain activity.

Browser storage
Privy and wallet providers may store session information in browser storage or cookies so a connection can be restored. Their policies describe how they use and retain that information.
You can disconnect using the wallet menu and manage cookies and site data through your browser. Clearing browser data does not remove public blockchain records.

Website requests and uploads
Requests to the website and its service providers include technical information such as the requested page, IP address, time, and browser details. Requests for a wallet profile, balance, or position also include the wallet address being requested.
When you launch a token, its image is sent through the website to Pinata for public IPFS hosting before the launch transaction is submitted. The image can become public even if you do not complete the launch. Do not upload private or sensitive information.
Token images are loaded from their image hosts, either through the website’s image service or directly by your browser. The service receiving a request can see the connection information associated with it.

Public blockchain information
Arc is a public ledger. Wallet addresses, balances, trades, and token launches can be read by anyone. Argus cannot remove or make those records private.
Launch details, including the token name, symbol, description, creator address, social links, and image reference, are submitted to the token’s contracts. Treat these details as public information.
A wallet address is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Someone who links an address to you can inspect its public activity.

Third-party services
Argus uses chain data services to display tokens, trades, holdings, and statistics. Some requests pass through the website’s server; wallet and trade features also contact chain services from your browser. Those requests can include wallet addresses and may expose your IP address to the receiving service.
Privy and your wallet provider handle wallet connections, signing, and transaction submission. Their privacy policies apply to information processed by their services.
Following an external link to a block explorer, token website, or social page sends a request to that service. Its terms and privacy policy apply.

No sale of personal data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Public blockchain records remain accessible independently of Argus.
